Concert day! We start with a morning rehearsal at the Hollywood Bowl.

Let no one say the Hollywood Bowl doesn't have big cajones. I believe these orbs are there for acoustic purposes. You can also see the drape they place over the stage to keep us cool in the morning sun.

Nothing says "summer" like an concert at the Bowl.

Between rehearsal and the concert, we traditionally hang out at Universal CityWalk.

One hour to down beat. The sun is falling, the audience is arriving, and it's moments like this that make you think that living in L.A. ain't so bad.

The famous acoustic shell (designed by Frank Lloyd Wright) at the Bowl is quite old. It was supposed to have been torn down a few years ago and replaced with a new shell, but there was a lot of opposition since it's such a historic structure. I can attest to the fact that it's literally falling apart, though.
